[WSIS CS-Plenary] VISAS For Tunisia?

Dear Karen and all

Adams answer corresponds very well with what we have discovred in helping
out the UNA's to obtain Visas. However, one additional problem in trying to
obtain visas upon entry is that for instance east african colleagues often
have to go through Europe. i.e. schengen to go to Tunesia, which means that
even if they can get a tunesian Visa upon entry, they will have a hard time
getting to Tunesia without a schengen visa anyway.

Finally, invitation letters almost always help things along. Perhaps the ES
could be asked to formulate a formal invitation for all registered
participants.

Sincerely

Jane

this is particularly important.. in this case
(and i'm sure in others) my colleague is
colombian and her closest embassy is in
washington.. i suppose people need to enquire
locally as to who/what the 'non-resident
diplomatic mission responsible in their country'
is? - or i wonder if the host can provide this information..

some are hoping that they will indeed get visas
on entry, but i wouldn't want to recommend that
unless we had some guarantee that they would be issued on entry ..
