Dear Philippe
I thank you for all your efforts for keeping us informed and for trying to keep CS organisations involved in the WSIS follow-up process.
However, in the conditions (restrictions) you mention in your e-mail, it is impossible for non-ECOSOC status SC organisations to participate actively and efficiently in these debates which yet will configure the WSIS follow-up inside of the ECOSOC and CSTD structures. This is in complete opposition to the agreements reached in the outcomes of Geneva and Tunis, and all these official declarations (from the UN SG to the ITU SG) that are always in current use. The multi-stakeholder partnership is far from being reality and the "new way for international gouvernance" the WSIS and its follow-up was supposed to demonstrate, becomes a sad flop !
I deeply regret this incertainty which prevents CSDPTT -as well as other good will showing CS organisations- from continuing to contribute actively to the WSIS follow-up, and more specifically to do our best for narrowing the digital gap between North and South as we committed ourselves over the past four years.l .

I'm waiting impatiently for you to give us the green light for us to fully participate in these meetings (no silent participation !) ; please give us a 48h period for coming.
Best
Jean-Louis Fullsack
President, CSDPTT
