[WSIS CS-Plenary] Dynamic Coalition on IGF Fund, with focus on participation from developing parts of the world

Colleaques and Partners.
I have been proved right!
Since August, we as an Entity have been or were
silently fighting the problems of poor representation
of Civil Soceity from  Africa and other less
priviledged countries to Athens.
We observed and protested strongly against the
obnoxious conditions placed by the Organizers(? in
conivance with the IGF Secretariat)for participants to
meet before coming to Athens.
Not a single voice of support did I receive.
Even though I stayed away from Athens in PROTEST, I am
reliably informed that the attendance from the civil
soceity community was the worst in the history of the
WSIS.
We should NOT ascribe this to poor funding as there
are many NGOs who would have participated at their
expense as usual, but no thanks to the unfreindly
conditions that served as booby traps on their paths.
Until, we address the problems of inequality and
inequity to and of access to countries, we shall
continue to move in circles and will only play lip
service to sustainable develoment!
Instead of forming a coalition for funding purposes.
lets form a strong coalition against inequity and
inequality-until we begin to respect one another as
partners in progress from all divides, we shall remain
where are-the South and the North Dichotomy.
