[WSIS CS-Plenary] CS Declaration: next steps

Francis, Jean-Louis, and all,

It is important to have input from as many as possible. However, it is also important that the Declaration/Statement be timely. I agree with Jean-Louis and Francis' recommendation for a need for a bit more time and that the Statement should be published in the very beginning of the year. From a media perspective, the holidays in December would not be good timing. However, the first week in January would be very good and we could tie the WSIS CS Declaration/Statement to Civil Society's New Year Resolutions for world communication, knowledge, and peace.

Therefore, we should finalize in December to be sent to the media for January 1st.

Hello

The call from Jean-Louis makes senses.
There is no emergency in getting the CS declaration out.
It is quite important that this CS declaration receives
contributions from non-english speaking stakeholders.

Best regards

Francis
PS: I have got no time to have a look at the CS
declaration yet and have discussions with constituencies.

Bonjour

Francisco
