caucus francophone...? I don't think it's a real caucus. At least it
hasn't presented it's credentials to the plenary group nor figured in
any of the discussions.

Are there any Canadians involved, as no doubt they would be
interested in making sure any Francophone caucus has the
representation of groups from Quebec, New Brunswick, which are
canadian provinces that are members of "la francophonie"

If in fact the group is legit (which they will have to prove), as the
focal point for north america & europe, please have the group contact
me.

For overpasses, the proposed procedure I hope to announce for the
region is as follows:

- I will ask people who come from the North American and European
region who don't belong to a thematic caucus or working group to send
me an email to - wsis at privaterra.org- requesting they wish an
overpass. The automated system will generate a receipt, and place
their name in a queue.

- I will compile the list of requests, and will allocate the approx
30 overpasses allotted to the north american & european region based
on the following (proposed) criteria :

- involvement in the wsis process to-date (on and/or offline)
- involvement in information society issues at international,
regional, national & local level
- recommendations by those involved in the wsis process to-date (on
and offline)

To be honest, I haven't heard of the group you mention at all. As
such, they will be low on the list - likely not able to get any
overpasses alloted for the region.

As their name suggests they are involved in "disabled" issues, I
would recommend they contact the disabilities caucus - who have their
own process in place . That being said, it is likely that they have
already assigned all the passes they have.

regards,

Robert
