hi tracey, all

I don't doubt Mr Geigers assurances, but, the
host country website, and the information in the
'information for participants' re visas is not consistent:
The host coubntry site brings the following
information up for anyone who needs a visa (i've
tested quite a few and they are all identical) -
and makes no reference to being able to get visas on entry.
---
Applicants should contact the
<http://www.smsitunis2005.tn/plateforme/visaen/missionsen.xls>Tunisian
Diplomatic or Consular mission in the country of
residence or representation, and submit the following documents :
* A passport valid all along the stay in Tunisia
* A letter of confirmation of registration in
the second phase of the Summit
* The visa application
<http://www.smsitunis2005.tn/plateforme/visaen/formulaire.pdf>form
duly filled and submitted 15 days before the start of the Summit proceedings
* 4 recent passport photos
* A hotel reservation
---
the documentation on the ITU site says:
7.3 Requests for entry visas should be made
to the Tunisian diplomatic and/or consular
representation of the participant¹s country of
residence. Participants residing in countries in
which Tunisia has no diplomatic and/or consular
representation may obtain their entry visa from
the non-resident diplomatic mission responsible
for their country , or, failing this, and
exceptionally, upon arrival at the airport.

Is it possible for the WSIS secretarait to issue
something in writing which assures immigration
en-route, that the person travelling will receive a tunisian visa on entry?
