Assuming that more than three people might be interested...Has anyone 
put their name forward to date?

Are we talking about a nomcom that would pick among self-nominees or one 
that would actually go out and recruit?  The former is obviously easier.

Agree, it's better in principle to have broad-based input from the 
relevant groupings, and it might increase dialogue and engagement within 
and between them.
